A pit bull will be euthanized after police say it attacked a 14-year old boy this week.
La Crosse officers say on Wednesday afternoon, Anthony Knothe was walking in an alley in La Crosse when the pit bull got out and grabbed him by the wrist. The teen had to have surgery because of his injuries.
Police say the dog belongs to Catherine Billing, who's other dog was euthanized when it attacked two Century Tel workers in August.
Police say billing lied about the current attack and was ticketed for obstructing an officer and animal violations.
Police say the dog is quarantined at the Coulee Region Humane Society for ten days before being put down.
Officers say in addition to the two aforementioned attacks, there was a dog attack at the same address in April of 2008. In that incident, police say a man walking near by saw a pack of her dogs attacking a puppy in her yard. He climbed the fence and tried to save the puppy. Officers say the man was bitten twice in the leg and was able to get away from the dogs.
