A garage goes up in flames and firefighters are able to keep it from spreading too far into the attached home.
Fire crews from Township, Eleva and Strum were called to the fire on Martin Drive south of Eau Claire around 5 p.m. Friday night.
The homeowners and their dogs were not hurt.
Township Fire Chief of Operations Darrell Christy says flames were shooting out of the attached garage when crews got there.
He says it appears the fire started in the electrical panel in the garage. There was some fire damage to the entryway into the home and smoke damage inside the home. But, Christy says the stone siding on the house helped keep the fire from spreading.
