3rd of 4 Wis. spa-shooting victims out of hospital

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Officials at a Milwaukee hospital say the third of four women injured in a spa shooting last weekend has been released.

A Froedtert Hospital spokeswoman said Friday the fourth patient remains hospitalized in satisfactory condition.

The four women were injured by a gunman who stormed into Azana Spa and Salon in Brookfield on Sunday. The gunman was apparently targeting his wife, whom he had terrorized for years. The wife and two of her co-workers were killed, and the gunman was later found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police say the gunman had slashed his wife's tire earlier this month. She was granted a protection order two weeks later, three days before the shooting rampage.
