UW-Eau Claire accounting students will be helping taxpayers who can't afford professional help with their income taxes.
Volunteers will meet with people whose adjusted gross annual incomes are less than $42,000 on a first-come, first-served basis. They’ll help with basic tax forms. The service is available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons through April 15. It will not be available between March 16 and the 20 because of spring break.
Call UW-Eau Claire’s Accounting and Finance Department at 715-836-4282 for more information.
