A car crashes through the walls of a Trempealeau county home.
It happened Monday night at the Hickory Ridge Adult Family Home on Arneson Ridge road -- just northwest of Blair.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department says 83-year old Keith Hamilton backed out of the garage before it was open and hit a guardrail.
Investigators say the car accelerated forward into the garage, and crashed through the wall of the laundry room.
The 76-year old passenger couldn't get out until the Blair Fire Department pulled the car out of the house.
Deputies say there were people inside the home at the time but no one was hurt. The crash also damaged a nearby parked vehicle.
The home's administrator tells us the people who live there will be able to stay there as repairs are made.
