A car hits a tree, goes through a fence and lands in a creek on Tuesday.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department says it happened near Ettrick around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Deputies say 75-year-old Janette Moen was driving northbound on Highway 53 when she hit a small tree, went through a barbed-wire fence, went airborne and landed in the creek on her car's wheels.
The Ettrick Fire Department and first responders got Moen out of the car. She was taken by ambulance for treatment. Investigators say she has non-life threatening injuries.
