This is very wrong he should of been arrested right away!!! We are not happy with this matter! Our house was broken into last spring and nobody was found yet for this action!!!!! We lost alot of memmories here!! So we wonder, with Barron County it is okay to break-in to homes and it is okay? This is a invasion of privacy and disrespectful!! Why was this person not arrested???? Bad times or not!! This is not Right!!!!

So it's ok to break into people's houses and steal and not be arrested if you cooperate but if you skateboard across a business parking lot you get a $50 fine. Sounds like the way Eau Claire does things.

Everyone wroks hard for what they have and yes, it is hard financial times. Stealing is only going to make matters worse. He should be in Jail. Duh.

Didn't arrest the man because he was cooperative? I hope he is being charged. All of us are having tough financial times and finding it hard to provide for our families. That doesn't give him or anyone else an excuse to steal from someone else. Stealing is wrong no matter what.
