A fire killed hundreds of chickens at a business in Arcadia Wednesday.
It happened around 11 a.m. at a barn owned by Gold'n Plump off County Road A and Boberg Lane. The Arcadia Fire Department says it was fully engulfed when crews got there.
The barn is a total loss and about 500 to 600 chickens were killed.
Several area fire departments were called to the scene and it took firefighters about an hour and a half to put it out. They do not know what caused the fire.
