Investigators in Trempeleau County now say a man who was found dead next to a burning car, killed himself.
Chief Deputy Brian Puent says the body was found in a field off County Highway T, near Ettrick last Friday.
He says autopsy results now show the man committed suicide.
Ordinarily we do not report on suicides at WEAU 13 News, however because the cause of death was unknown at the time of the release by the Sheriff's Department, we feel it is appropriate to update the information.
