Burn Barrel Causes Five Acre Grass Fire
Firefighters say illegal burning caused a grass fire near Fall Creek.

A grass fire came dangerously close to a home Friday afternoon.
Firefighters near Fall Creek spent about an hour fighting it.
The fire burned about five acres and started about 4:30-pm north of Fall Creek on 140th.
Firefighters with Township, Fall Creek and the DNR responded.
Township Fire Chief Jack Running says a non-approved burn barrel caused the fire.
