Fire fighters say the blaze on Nicholls Lane in Arcadia could have been a lot worse.
They say they were afraid the heavy winds at 9:30 Sunday morning would spread the fire farther into the field and the woods around it.
They say it took them about an hour and a half to control the flames.
No one was hurt.
