People living in several Western Wisconsin counties have the opportunity to find out this week if they have some unknown belongings waiting for them.
State Treasurer Dawn Marie Sass will have an unclaimed property database at several public libraries in the area.

Statewide, more one million people and businesses have unclaimed property in Wisconsin totaling more than $352 million.
In western Wisconsin, the numbers are as follows:
• Buffalo County has more than 1500 people with unclaimed property worth more than $130,000
• Pepin County has more than 700 people with unclaimed property worth nearly $60,000
• Pierce County has more than 5800 people with unclaimed property worth more than $570,000
• Saint Croix County has more the 9200 people with unclaimed property worth nearly $980,000
• Trempealeau County has more than 3700 people with unclaimed property valued over $320,000
