Eau Claire County Brush Site Open

Eau Claire County’s brush site started taking trees and other trimmings Tuesday.

The site is on Olsen Drive near the Seven Mile Creek landfill in the town of Seymour.

The brush site will be open Tuesdays from Noon to 4 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until Noon. The brush site is only for residential use.

You can bring brush to the site that is six inches in diameter or less. It also can't be longer than six feet. You can't bring in raked leaves, pine needles, grass clippings or any other non-woody material.

The site stays open until November 14.
