Some TTM Employees Return to Work, Others Released

One of the biggest employers in Chippewa Falls has made more adjustments in its workforce.

Chief Financial Officer Steve Richards says TTM Technologies permanently released 90 of its temporary employees.

He also says 280 workers who were on a month long furlough are back at work Tuesday, but the hourly staff will have their hours cut from 40 to 32 hours a week starting next week.

Richards says that will last at least until the end of June or longer if conditions don't improve.

There are 900 hourly workers at the Chippewa Falls plant out of 1000 employees.
