Police have arrested a woman in connection with a fire that damaged three businesses in Richland Center.
Chief of Police John Annear says 61-year-old Joen M. Fazel of Richland Center was arrested Wednesday afternoon. Police say Fazel lived in one of the apartments damaged in the fire. Investigators say she was unaccounted for while the fire was going on, and was later found in the downtown area nearly an hour after the fire was reported
Fazel is currently being held in the Richland County Jail. She is facing a felony charge of arson to a building.
