A sheriff says deputies arrested four suspects in at least three burglaries in the area.
Vernon County Sheriff Gene Cary says 21-year-old Dayton Tibbals of Gays Mills, 19-year-old Jeremy Kvamme of Viroqua, 24-year old Becky Glidden of Gays Mills, and 17-year-old Tyler Peterson of Readstown were all arrested. He says deputies also caught an 18-year-old from Viroqua, but are simply recommending that prosecutors charge her along with the others.
Cary says burglars broke into two cabins and an out-building during the last month. He says deputies got information about the suspects during an unrelated incident. That led to a couple search warrants being served. He says deputies recovered guns, a compound bow, a television, and two all-terrain vehicles.
