Here's the information provided by the State of Wisconsin:
Gordy’s County Market Recalls Taco Bratwursts; Soy, Dairy, Wheat Not Listed On Labels
MADISON – Gordy’s County Market is voluntarily recalling taco bratwursts sold in four of its northwest Wisconsin stores, because they contain allergens that are not listed on the label, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection announced today.
The unlisted allergens are soy, wheat and dairy products, all of which may produce a serious reaction in people with allergies or severe sensitivities to those ingredients. No illnesses have been reported from consuming this product.
About 34 pounds of bratwursts were sold frozen in packages of five on black plastic-covered trays, labeled “Gordy’s Premium Taco Bratwurst,” with sell-by dates of 6/23/09 or earlier.
The bratwursts were produced by Gordy’s and sold only in its own stores:
Eau Claire, 2717 Birch St.
Chippewa Falls, 212 Bay St.
Lake Wissota, 17158 County Hwy J
Ladysmith, 400 W. 9th Street North
Consumers who have any of the taco bratwursts may return it to the place of purchase for a refund. For further information, they may call store manager Joel Jacobson, 715-726-2505.
Symptoms in people with food allergies may include shortness of breath, skin reactions and stomach upset. While most people do not have food allergies, anyone who eats a specific food and experiences symptoms should consult a doctor.
