An Eau Claire hospital is warning people about a scam involving a collection agency.
Luther Midelfort says ASC Collection Agency is trying to get consumers to send them money. It says the fake company is contacting people by phone and offering them a 40 percent discount If they make immediate money order payments on any Luther Midelfort bill. Luther Midelfort says ASC Collection Agency is not affiliated with Luther Midelfort in any way.
