(AP) -- University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Chancellor Linda Bunnell says she has no plans to resign over criticism from students and donors about her leadership.
Bunnell says most of the criticism is coming from members of the UW-Stevens Point Foundation who are unhappy she fired its executive director for poor performance.
She says a recent "no-confidence" vote in her leadership by the student senate shouldn't carry much weight since 11 of the 15 senators who voted were not elected.
Bunnell, who has led the campus since 2004, says she plans to be chancellor five more years. She says she's done nothing wrong except for leaving the scene of a February traffic accident in her state vehicle.
Some of her supporters say the criticism is unfair and is coming because she's making big changes to improve the university.
