Ridiculous!! There is something terribly wrong when someone can get to number TEN.

Nooooo way, you mean that if you get caught drunk driving 10 TIMES...you MIGHT get in trouble for it. BUMMER DUDE!!! Well, at least his 10th time was worth some jail time....because the 2nd-9th must not have warranted any. This makes me sick that it takes this long to put a loser like this in jail.

His license will be revoked for 3 years? Why even ever allow for another in his lifetime???? Not that he will quit driving but come on!!! State wake up!! What a joke...

Ummm, how many times did this guy get away with drunk driving? And why are his sentances consecutive instead of concurrent? Is this just another attempt to let the drunk out sooner-heaven forbid that we ever put a loser away forever. Has this man contributed to society in any way that is anything but negative? Does he have a job and family? I feel sorry for his family-this must be humiliating for them. Is there something special about the 10th time? Is that where someone says "Letting him off with a slap on the wrist won't help this time"? This is disgusting. What a waste of a human life.

Unbelieveable!!! What more can be said? Once I can understand but anything more is just unbelieveable and to let this guy get ten!! Now he is going to prison and his license is revoked for three years!! He should never have his license again. What is it going to take, him killing someone before he is told he can't drive anymore! Driving is a privilege and he shouldn't have it! He obviously doesn't get it! But hey that's our legal system and the bad guy gets the benefit of the doubt while the good guy gets the "shaft".

Wow, what took so long? Our wonderful justice system finally decided to put him in jail but only after his 10th OWI. His license should be taken away for alot longer than 3 years. How about him NEVER getting them back or are you going to wait until he kills someone by driving drunk. Apparantly he doesn't understand that driving drunk is against the law.

hehehehehhehehehehehehehehehe!!!!!!!! Here we go again! A 10-time drunk driver goes to prison for 5 years, while someone else sits for 10 for growing plants. Why don't we send the SWAT team to the alky's houses at 4am to break down their doors and confiscate all their booze? Oh, and we might as well take their money and kids while we're at it, too. (sorry, I forgot that we're only that violent with hippies)

Well. People to not seem to like jails and prisons, and it is only his 10th offense. Maybe they could just order him to get some counseling or go to rehab for a short time. That should take care of the problem.

This is a name that's very familiar to those of us who have tended bar up around the Hayward area. I'm just glad no one was hurt.
