One man is injured after his vehicle was rear ended, and then hit a tree.
The Monroe County Sheriffs Department says 50-year-old Jean Greeno of Norwalk was driving southbound on State Highway 71 at I-90 near Sparta, when she ran into the back of another vehicle, just after 3 p.m. Friday afternoon.
That vehicle was being driven by 85-year-old Wallace Habhegger of Sparta.
Deputies say Habhegger vehicle was pushed into the opposite ditch and hit a tree. Greeno was not injured, but Habhegger did get cuts to his face and arms. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
