Wednesday evening could bring some locations in the SkyWarn 13 viewing area some strong thunderstorms. Severe weather is not likely at this time, although the issuance of any warnings cannot be completey ruled out. The locations in the viewing area with the greatest potential for strong thunderstorms ranges from the WI/MN border east and north of Minneapolis, through Chippewa, Rusk, Taylor, and Wood counties. Again, severe weather is not likely but some very small hail is possible near Cornell, Holcombe, Gilman, Medford, and Mather. There are currently some thunferstorms west of Minneapolis that will likely fizzle out before they reach Wisconsin.
All storms in Wisconsin should gradually weaken through sunset (around 8:15 PM), and transition into rain showers, with a few embedded rumbles of thunder.
