A man who was arrested after a car chase last year will spend time in prison
In Eau Claire County Court this week, 25-year-old Daniel W. Wallace from Alma Center was sentenced to 18 months in prison with 1 year extended supervision. His drivers’ license will also be revoked for 6 months.
In November, a deputy tried stopping Wallace’s car when he was clocked at more than 84 m.p.h, and going more than 100 m.p.h. during the chase
Deputies caught up to the car, but the driver bailed out and tried to hide in a corn field east of Fall Creek.
The Sheriff's Department brought a dog out to help find the man.
