A man was thrown off his tractor after it had a mechanical failure.

A man was thrown off his tractor after it had a mechanical failure.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff's department says 42-year-old John Ratz of Fountain City was driving his tractor up a driveway just before 5 Saturday afternoon when the accident happened.
Deputies say while Ratz was driving, the tractor had a mechanical failure which caused Ratz to lose control. Ratz was thrown off the tractor and was taken to a La Crosse area hospital by helicopter.
