Rationing Ammo: What Does the Shortage Mean for Sport Shooters?
Handgun ammo is in short supply and some stores say they're forced to ration. So, should you try to stock up or wait the shortage out?

As a Patrol Officer, I see this much like the scare over the flu a few years back when people lined up for half a day to get a flu shot, and the few companies that made the so called "Vaccine" made out like BANDITS! With the unreasonable fears over guns being taken away, people are hoarding ammo & guns like others stock piled for the Millenium... Meanwhile gun manufacturers are allowed (by having the strongest protection lobbying money can buy) to sell to dealers that sell these guns illegally out the back door to criminals/gangsters\Mexican cartels (what we would call well armed Mafia or Militia). We know they are selling these guns illegally when stores are resupplied with 3, 4, 5 x 's the volume of legitimate gun shops. Yet these un-patriot gun manufacturers put profits above all else; and cry foul when investigations show this. Just stop illegal sales! If anything this will cause a glut (eventually) in supply & prices will drop back as supplies overflow.

Oh yeah, everyone go out and buy all the ammo before Obama takes it away. What a load of bull.

This has me deeply concerned. I always wear a couple of holstered pistols when I'm mowing my lawn. I am worried that I will not have enough bullets if I ever find myself in a situation where I need to act in self defense.
