Man Arrested for Allegedly Beating Newborn Son
The Vernon County Sheriff's Department says Michael J. Wojczak from La Farge was arrested on Monday.

A man was arrested after police say he beat his nearly one month-year-old son.
The Vernon County Sheriff's Department says Michael J. Wojczak from La Farge was arrested on Monday.
The Sheriff's Department says the infant was brought to Vernon Memorial Hospital and was later taken to Gundersen-Lutheran in La Crosse with serious injuries
Investigators say the child had traumatic injuries to the head and abdomen.
Wojczak is being held on a $50,000 cash bond in the Vernon County Jail.
He is scheduled to appear in court again next week.
