A local doctor had a very busy day on Monday, he helped deliver seven new babies.
Dr. Frank LoRusso, a Marshfield Clinic doctor delivered all the babies at Sacred Heart Hospital on Monday. He says the day started out routine, but, turned out to be anything but normal starting in the late afternoon several moms-to-be went into labor.
With the help of the nursing staff Lorusso got working. After twelve hours, with only a little pause in the action, Dr. LoRusso delivered five girls and two boys all healthy and happy babies.
"All of the credit goes to the moms." LoRusso says, "They did great work and were really a lot of fun to be around. It was a fun, fun night."
LoRusso says a lot of the credit also goes to the nursing staff they too did a lot of work. He says that everything went well and there were no big complications.
