The state says thousands of people dropped off Wisconsin’s No Call List since January.
It’s because you need to re-register for it every two years. If you sign up before June, you'll be on the July 1 list. You can also add your cell phone to the list.
The Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection suggests signing up each year on your birthday to keep from falling off of the list. It identifies you as someone who doesn't want to get calls from telemarketers.
To sign up, call 1-866-9no-call.
