The Brown Country sheriff's office says a 13-year-old boy with cancer and his mother who fled the state to avoid chemotherapy have returned to Minnesota.
The sheriff's office did not provide any details, but called a news conference for Monday evening in New Ulm.
Daniel Hauser and his mother, Colleen, left Minnesota Tuesday so Daniel could avoid chemotherapy. The search for them had focused on southern California and Mexico.
Doctors say Daniel has a cancerous tumor growing in his chest that's likely to kill him without chemotherapy, but his family prefers natural healing methods.
