Police arrested a disc jockey who they say punched a man in the face at a wedding he was working at.
Prosecutors filed a substantial battery charge against 32-year-old Andrew Pikulski of Chippewa Falls on Monday. Pikulski was working at the wedding at the Metropolis Hotel in Eau Claire last weekend. That’s when the complaint shows he got into an argument with someone at the wedding.
It goes on to say a brother-in-law of the groom says Pikulski was being annoying and appeared to be drunk. He told investigators he stepped in between the two fighting to separate them. That’s when the complaint shows Pikulski punched the man in the face.
Pikulski is scheduled to be in court on July 20.
