This article needs some clarification! The water landings were not accident as this article implies, but rather a coordinated training exercise for the Chippewa Fire Department and the ISPC skydivers. The water jumps had been carefully planned over the course of several months and outcome was successful. Everyone who jumps at Skydive Wissota is cognizant of the dangers the nearby lake impose and everyone is trained on emergency water landing procedures before jumping. Congrats Jeremy and Tom on your successful water jumps. Hope it was as fun as it looked!
