Salvation Army Donation Thief In Custody
A woman had impersonated a Salvation Army volunteer when she took kettles from three locations in Westfield and one in Montello last weekend.

Someone who tried to play scrooge by stealing Salvation Army donation kettles in Marquette County has been nabbed.

The woman had impersonated a Salvation Army volunteer when she took kettles from three locations in Westfield and one in Montello last weekend.

But police say took the woman into custody and recovered the kettle equipment.
>
The Salvation Army Project Coordinator says the organization will press charges because it wants to make sure all the money raised goes toward helping the community.
