Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold faults the Bush Administration for failing to develop a policy on Somalia.

Feingold returned from a recent trip to Africa, where he visited Ethiopia and Kenya.

Senator Norm Coleman agrees with the Wisconsin Senator.

Feingold will chair the Senate Foreign Relations African Affairs Subcommittee next year.

Feingold won passage of a Defense Bill Amendment in October that requires the U.S. Government to coordinate a strategy for Somalia and the region.

Minnesota has the largest Somali community in the United States, and is very concerned about the lack of U.S. policy on Somalia.
