A proposal to re-develop the Davies Center at UW-Eau Claire will go before the UW Board of Regents this week.

A proposal to re-develop the Davies Center at UW-Eau Claire will go before the UW Board of Regents this week.

The project could cost around 48 and a half billion dollars.
>
If it's approved it would be funded through student segregated fees.
>
Right now students pay $600 dollars in segregated fees but that could go up by as much as $125 dollars per semester by 2010.
>
No tax dollars would be involved.
>
It’s a student initiated proposal that came about from of a survey.
>
64 percent of students who voted approved a re-development.
