Investigators say a fire destroyed a pole shed, and killed 200 ducklings inside.
Neillsville fire chief Matt Meyer says it started just before 7 a.m. Monday at Genesis Midwest, a research farm north of Neillsville.
Genesis Midwest says the heater in the shed wasn't on, but thinks the fire may have been electrical in nature.
Meyer says the ducklings were about a week old.
No one else was hurt.
