Hundreds of liberals held a protest gathering in Madison to denounce Clear Channel Radio's decision to axe a popular talk radio station in their city.

Hundreds of liberals held a protest gathering in Madison to denounce Clear Channel Radio's decision to axe a popular talk radio station in their city.
The crowd Tuesday evening filled the High Noon Saloon, a music venue in downtown Madison, to its capacity of 400.
Speakers criticized the radio giant's decision to switch the format of WXXM FM from progressive talk to sports.
One called it the worst business decision in the history of radio.
