Wednesday, the movie “Public Enemies”, about John Dillinger, will be released, but just when those gangsters are getting some publicity in Wisconsin, a tourist attraction at Al Capone's home has closed.
A bar, restaurant, and gift shop, in a building that once belonged to Capone, is closed.
The Hayward Chamber of Commerce says Al Capone's Hideout in Couderay closed in the spring.
The chamber says it typically closed in the fall. This year, it never re-opened.
The businesses were in the original eight-car garage of the house.
Al Capone is said to have bought and built the property in the late 1920's.
