Who says we should be warned of danger? There was a time when the 'extra' people among us would weed themselves out! Seriously, though, I'm glad she's OK. Those are some pretty high cliffs along that side of the lake, and yes, flip-flops are ALWAYS a bad choice for hiking...hehehehe

Flip flops may be ok for an extablished and groomed trail or road... BUT on a "cow trail" BAD IDEA!!!!! bet she don't do that again.... to the city;; post a HIKE AT YOUR OWN RISK sign where it crosses another trail.... at least they can't say they weren't warned if they choose to hike it..

Good thing nothing too bad came from this. You are one lucky girl. I bet next time, you will think twice before you wear flip flops!!! Good thing no one got hurt though. And Kevo your post is uncalled for.
