Workers at an area trucking firm learned their company is shutting down.
Monson Trucking says its closing as of August 31st, putting 200 people out of work, including employees in Mauston.
The Duluth based trucking company has been in business for 94 years, and opened the Mauston terminal in 2006.
The company has four terminals in all.
The owner says the economy, decline of the paper industry and customer bankruptcies are forcing it to close.
