New type of cloud spotted in Wisconsin
Clouds form overhead every day and we generally don't think much about it. Meteorologists say there are three basic types of clouds but there are dozens of sub categories. There might be one more added because of a photo taken in Western Wisconsin.

I too have also witnessed this type of cloud in the Altoona area.

Rare but not that rare ! As a sunset photographer I have seen those same type of clouds on and off for years in Northern WI. But with tens of thousands of sunset photos over the years I have seen some strange clouds that I don't remember from years back. Keep up the good work Danielle! Keep your eye on the sky.
