I fight, for the right, to PAAARTAAY!
I fight for Freedom, not a piece of cloth. I fight for Liberty, not a piece of cloth. I fight for Life, and the Pursuit of Happiness, not a piece of cloth. I speak up, because others are silent. I fight for a Nation and a People, not a piece of cloth. The cloth once stood for the things I fight for, and I fight for the cloth to stand for those things again. What are you fighting for?
doubt it...
Philo, you need any help packing your belongings?
The 'flag code' means nothing if the Freedom it's supposed to stand for doesn't exist here. I'll start respecting a piece of cloth when Americans can start respecting EACH OTHER'S Freedom. Maybe I'll see that day before I die...
I wish WEAU had gone into detail regarding the remaining rules of the flag. Please go here for full details regarding the laws surround the flag my Father died fighting for.... http://www.ushistory.org/betsy/flagcode.htm
glad to see this explained to people who do not understand the flag code- there are other items in the flag code that people disrespect without intent to do so, like flying the flag after dark without a light on it - if you want to show respect to the flag and what it stands for it would be good to know the flag code !
