A pickup truck pulling a trailer slammed into the back of a semi Saturday night that closed all eastbound lanes on Interstate 94 for several hours.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says at around 10:30 Saturday evening near the Osseo exit on 94 -- a semi driver slowed for traffic ahead in the right lane due to heavy fog.
That's when troopers say a pickup truck pulling a trailer hit the rear end of the semi.
The pickup driver was trapped in the vehicle for an extended time, before crews pulled him from the truck.
Both the driver and passenger of the pickup were taken to an area hospital by air ambulance.
