Gov. Doyle's travel records reportedly not accurate
A new report shows Governor Jim Doyle’s travel records are not as accurate as they should be. The report shows the governor and his staff didn't properly account for 145 travel expenses over two years.

Pete you are correct. We need to change our governor "EVERY" election, no matter how popular they are, to make sure they don't have time to get corrupt. Of course they may be corrupt to begin with but at least they won't have time to take advantage of it.
Do you know why he will get away with this? It is because when people read this stuff, they write posts attacking the democrats as though the republicans are somehow better. Then, the democrat and republican leaders get together and laugh at how the public is so stupid that they think there are two different sides. If you actually think the republicans are any better, then you are not very bright. That said, I am all for recalling Doyle. He is absolutely first rate scum.
Pathetic! It's ashamed that the acts of our government officials no longer suprise any of us ~ while we the people, are losing sleep at night praying our jobs will last one more day and hoping we can somehow support our family through these hard times.
With all his lying going on re. the budget ("budget cuts" when all he really meant was he didn't increase state debt by as much as he wanted to), and his insertion of nonfiscal items into the budget, is anyone surprised at this recent news item? What business do we have in Ireland? $650 a night it must have been one heck of a hotel. I thought we were in a recession and are supposed to watch spending. I see Mr Doyle is really concerned w/ the state budget by spending $650/night in a hotel...I'm sure he could have found something for $250 a night that most of us would have been more than happy with. Tax Payers money at work.

Why should Doyle be different than any other Politician? They all steal from the people. Then Doyle has the nerve to raise our taxes in Wisconsin. I say that we impeach the crook and put another crook in there to take his place.
