New figures show our property taxes will be going up with the new state budget.

Cole, didn't you state that you were a Stout student elsewhere? How do you think we are paying for your public education? Your tuition pays about 1/4 of it, and the rest of us are floating the rest. I agree with you, we should cut taxes drastically, and stop subsidizing college students. You can pay your own way instead of taking education welfare from the rest of us. Also, we need to stop paying for all of these retired people. End social security, which is nothing but socialism/welfare for people that didn't work hard enough or save for their futures. That would save a bunch of tax money. Also, I am sick of paying for benefits for ex-soldiers who need to get jobs and pay for their own healthcare. That goes for unemployment benefits also. End them.

Signed up for the recall of Doyle the other day. I voted for him too. This is just nuts. I am done. He lied, that is all there is to it.

GARY, hurry to be like CA??? We're already ahead of them!!! Who would have figured Gov. Doyle would increase property taxes? No way? Wisconsin is already the most taxed state in terms of Median value and 5th most in the Median income percentage that goes towards property taxes....Keep the taxes coming! To put it in perspective, A $150,000 house in Wisconsin pays more property tax ($2,780 in taxes) than a $480,000 house in California does ($2,280 in taxes)!! I'll quote from a earlier posted comment. "Time to flush they DOYLET" He needs to go. It's tough to boost the economy when the only thing we work for these days is to pay taxes.

That's just property taxes that went up. Gov Doyle and our Legislatures increased other taxes on us too. Stop the spending!

Come on people what is wrong with you? It's just going to get worse!!! Where's this change we were promised? Come on people start sticking up for what's right. Quit being the majority!!!

How much more of this will we take before we all join together to recall this man? As a homeowner in Eau Claire I signed up for the recall action already underway. I just bought a house and I do not want to lose it due to this Cow Manure. Please, for your sake and mine, Google Doyle and Recall. This has to stop before the state is run into the ground. At least look at the info. What have you to lose?
