New numbers show foreclosure rates are on the increase in Eau Claire.
Analysis of the housing market done by First American Core-Logic shows the foreclosure rate in Eau Claire increased in May of this year compared to May of 2008.
Numbers show this year's rate in Eau Claire is 1.2%.
The city falls below the statewide average for foreclosure activity, which sits at 1.7%, and well below the national rate of 2.5%.
The analysis shows mortgage delinquency has also increased in Eau Claire compared to last year.
