The Wisconsin Department of Justice wants to warn you about a new scam in the state.
Agents say scammers are calling people and telling them their name is officer smith and they're with the United Law Enforcement and Investigation Department.
The scammers then ask for personal information including social security numbers.
Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen wants to remind you to never give out any personal information over the phone, or through e-mail.
