Scientists say an insect no larger than a comma might be able to protect the nation's soybean crop.

Researchers are studying the tiny “Binodoxys Communis" and are testing it in Wisconsin.

They say it's a parasitic insect that inserts eggs into the aphid and kills it.

Scientists say aphids can destroy up to 40% of a farmer's crop, threatening the $27 billion soybean industry.

The biggest question is if the tiny bug can survive harsh winters here.
