Deputies say a man drove drunk and hit two parked vehicles.
40-year-old Dennis George was cited for various violations including his 5th OWI offense and open intoxicant. The Crawford County Sheriff's Department says George was driving on State Highway 27 northwest of Gays Mills when he fell asleep, crossed the lane and hit a car parked on the road. George then hit a power pole guide wire and ran into a parked truck in a nearby driveway. No one was in either vehicle when they were hit. George was arrested for OWI. He was not hurt in the crashes.
