Don't worry, he has Harry Hertel as his attorney according to CCAP, he'll be off in no time.

I find it amazing that the national news that covered his blindness story have not gotten wind of this. Boy, if he faked that all those years, there should be some penalty, but how could you prove it? I guess the shame of this incident is going to go along ways towards that, anyway.

the reason it didn't hit the news till now is his 1st court date was last week, his lawyer didnt show up but there were reporters at the court house. We all know how nosy they can be, they got wind of it and researched it. wonder if the lawyer will show up in august?? I would not want to defend him either if i was a lawyer, no money is worth that.

I agree with TJ from Hallie. But with the blindness thing, can't you be legally blind and still be able to see some things? Legally blind doesn't always mean can't completely see as far as I'm concerned. Again, not really defending him or accusing him--just stating a fact.

Maybe it took a month to come out due to the evidence. Looking at it now,it looks like the episode from last August is just being charged now. The two scenarios together may have made them each legit

I understand that there is always two sides to the story, I have children and live very close to this person, my question is why did it take over a month for this story to break. I am concerned for my family and I do not feel as safe as I should in my own home. This is a lude act, I know him personaly and I have never seen any mental instability. He made the choice to cover his liscence plates which means he knew what he was doing was wrong. Again if someone can give me a reason for why this was not released to the public sooner, I would like an answer to that. I feel for his family but he should have to pay for his actions and as far as I am concerned he should have thought of his family, it is not our job to feel sorry for them when he is putting my family and many others in potential danger. You can not blame mental instability for a thought out action, and compairing it to autisum is rediculous. I would like to hear his side of the story.

He didn't "regain" his sight until AFTER the statue of limitation for his employer to take action for his fraudulent behavior had expired...my my, how convenient. As far as the deer hunting, pretty much anyone of his family or in-laws will concur. He was even seen mowing his yard! So nice that he is looking out for the general public, isn't it? He is a disgusting person.

Some fool here used my name. Total lie. Renay DID NOT expose himself to my daughters. I stand by my comments. Whatever problems he has, I have still only seen the decent side of him in my experience. I hope he gets the help he needs.

Ok enough from the people sticking up for this creep.I am his brother in-law unfortunatly!!AND I AM ASHAMED TO ADMIT IT!!but enough is enough he was never blind and yes he deer hunted every year after he supposedly went blind. He is nothing but a lieing creep that should be put behind bars!!!I would like to know what he has done to his girls?I really hope the people that supported him see him for what he really is now!Maybe Dateline, larry king,Oprah and the others he lied to should know about this.Truly disgusting person who should be put away for a long, long time!!!

Actually...he's a physical therapist assistant, not a physician assistant (big difference). I'm not one to judge something like this, I always want the benefit of the doubt. I am also not defending him nor am I accusing him... but if he seriously did this, I think there should be consequences. If this is a false identity or possibly the woman took his actions in a different way than he intended, he should be left alone. God will be the one to judge in the end...He and Renay are the only ones that TRULY know what happen. Renay is the one that has to live with himself for his actions.

1st - never says he was exposing himself to children...he was wearing a ski mask in the school parking lot. Weird - yes disgusting & disgraceful - no. And as far as exposing himself to the 49 yr old woman - well that's odd. Can't say I'd want to be walking in a park & get that view however, I would take it for what it is - a disturbed man that is in need of attention for some reason. He is obviously in need of some emotional help. Which all of the claims that he never lost his sight - support this. I understand that what he did was wrong - but it wasn't thatbad. If it was -he would be in custody. So as for the public tar & feathering of this man, as if though he molested women & children...I find it a little overboard. I hope that both he & his family get the help they need.

I agree with JJ from Ec. Would you, your wife or kids feel safe living in the same neiborhood or working with Reney? He should be locked up until his court date. Employer beware.....

Maybe he should have thought about his actions and then you wouldn't have to worry about the daughters reading the comments. This is not normal behavior, it's disgusting. A mental disorder? He probably does have one, pedophiles have one as well, it doesn't justify their behavior though. IF he really wanted to "help" there are plenty of other ways to do so, being a pervert and victimizing innocent people is not "helping".

Trying to protect people? He is a physician assistant, not a police officer. Apparently this is not the first time either.

I'm curious about the Deer hunting- He must have had to get a license. Are those records available? His current offenses wont get him much jail time but deceiving people about his past and charging for public speaking events may get him some time behind bars to get the therapy he needs. Also-I don't think comparing someone with Autism and a Sexual Predator is fair to the person with Autism
