Firefighters responded to an apartment fire on Eau Claire's south side Sunday.

The flames broke out at 4908 Coventry Court, Apartment #7, just before 4:00 p.m.
>
Firefighters say someone in the apartment left a pan on the stove top, and the grease in the pan started on fire.
>
There was about $1,500 worth of damage done to the apartment and its contents, but no one was injured.
